Hearts and Hands of Care is Hiring an Executive Director Near Anchorage, AK

SALARY: DOEREPORTS TO: Chief of Operations/Chief Executive Officer_______________________________________________________________________JOB PURPOSE: The Executive Director is responsible for the direction and coordination of all business office operations. He or/ She will supervise office activities to achieve maximum expense control, productivity, implement the strategic goals and objectives of the organization. To give direction and leadership toward the achievement of the organization’s philosophy, mission, strategy, and its annual goals and objectives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct performance evaluations on a regular basis in accordance with agency procedures. Address and follow up on any issues on a timely basis.
  • Facilitate team meetings ensuring that all necessary program information, training and agency policy/procedures are reviewed as needed.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of agency policies and procedures.
  • Ensure program compliance, safety procedures contracts, state and federal regulations.
  • Authorize all program management documentation i.e.: Timesheets, attendance.
  • Handle Quality Assurance issues
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with poise, tact, and diplomacy
  • Organize and prioritize large volume of information and assignments, including paper and electronic filing through network server
  • Work independently and within a team on special and ongoing projects when necessary
  • Projects a positive image of organization and conduct ones self professionally at all times, when dealing with internal and external colleagues, consistent with the values and culture of the organization.
  • Attend conferences and training as scheduled. Share information with staff.
  • Follow regulations and agency policies for intake and discharges
  • Maintain current and active monthly list of department issues, forwarding lists to Chief Executive Director and CEO to review
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
  • Assist Chief Executive Director, CEO and Habilitation Coordinator as needed
  • Identify, recruit, train and develop a talented team of employees who can lead critical departments and manage strategic business functions.
  • Monitor company operations and ensure employees and business practices comply with regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Develop the organizational culture and promote transparency and collaboration throughout the organization.
  • Develop partnerships with company stakeholders, shareholders, industry regulators and other relevant parties.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities within the organization and its environment to protect business interests.
  • Identify potential sources of investment and organize community engagement and partnerships.
  • Represent the company at social and corporate events in ways that strengthen the brand and communicate the company’s message.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in business and 3 years’ experience as a director or supervisory position for 20 plus employees in the Healthcare Field or equivalent.
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check.
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrative poise, tact, and diplomacy.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in accounting, word processing, spreadsheets, database and presentation software (QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Requires continual attention to detail and composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
  • HIPAA Compliance
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to work in an office setting
  • Position may require extended hours including evenings and weekends
