- Completing full-cycle accounting activities and maintaining financial records and general ledger accounts, including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, pre-paid transactions, accruals and variance analysis;
- Processing weekly check runs or similar processes within bill.com;
- Researching, reconciling and recording credit card purchases;
- Analyzing and recording monthly insurance bills;
- Monitor and distribute action items from the accounting email;
- Preparing annual tax packages and reporting requirements;
- Utilizing the accounting/ERP system and its reporting/dashboards to your advantage;
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems, processes and procedures; and supporting the Finance Director and other accounting teammates, as necessary.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
- Team player mentality
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Good problem-solving and time-management skills
- Experience with NetSuite, Workday and bill.com a plus
