Purpose
Repair Pella products or install service parts in field. Supervise technicians who are located in NE, SD and ND. Provide excellent customer service.
General Description
Perform and complete service work on Pella Products in the field.
Problem solve and diagnosis difficult issues in the field.
Replace glass and sashes in windows and/or doors and Install accessories.
Provide customers with information on care, operation and maintenance of Pella Products.
Generates and updates all service-related files electronically.
Collect payment when necessary.
Reschedule from jobsite, and request replacement parts, to complete job.
Conduct any necessary follow up service work or communication to customer.
Monitor vehicle maintenance and schedule routine repairs for technicians.
Meet and monitor company safety procedures.
Meet or exceed monthly metric goals, including Customer Service Reviews, quality, and productivity.
Oversee and direct Field Technicians.
Assist technicians in resolving customer product issues and complaints.
Train internal & subcontracted service personnel.
Develop orientation programs for Service Technicians.
Develop & implement ongoing and scheduled training for technicians.
Develop performance objectives and complete performance reviews.
Develop and implement job site evaluation process.
Review discrepancies immediately.
Work with the service team to ensure the highest quality service possible.
Actively participate in continuous improvement process
Timely Attendance and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
A positive attitude and ability to work and communicate well with others.
Knowledge and experience in basic construction skills.
Ability to use hand and powered tools.
Adaptable to daily changing situations.
Computer skills with emphasis on outlook and smart phones.
Ability to travel and stay overnight up to 4 nights in a week.
A valid current driver’s license and clean driving record.
Dependable and be able to work unsupervised.
Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.
Ability to lift and carry more than 100 lbs
