HeartFit For Life is Hiring a Membership Director Near Palo Alto, CA

Organization Overview: HeartFit For Life is a leading nonprofit, community-based healthcare organization committed to providing comprehensive cardiac rehabilitation services to individuals recovering from cardiovascular conditions. We offer personalized exercise programs, lifestyle counseling, and continuous support to help patients achieve optimal heart health and improve their overall quality of life. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Part-Time Membership Director to join our team and play a pivotal role in expanding our membership base to 250 individuals.

Job Summary: As a Part-Time Membership Director for HeartFit For Life’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of strategies to increase membership, grow our patient base and identify funding and grant opportunities. Your focus will be on promoting the benefits of our cardiac rehabilitation services to prospective patients, healthcare professionals, and relevant stakeholders. With a flexible schedule, you will work collaboratively with the Program Directors and support HeartFit For Life’s goal of expanding membership to 250 participants.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategy Support: Collaborate with the Director in executing a strategy aimed at expanding the HeartFit For Life Cardiac Rehabilitation membership base.

2. Lead Generation: Identify potential leads and target markets through market research, networking, and engaging with healthcare providers, medical facilities, and community organizations. Develop system for tracking lead generation.

3. Prospecting and Outreach: Proactively reach out to potential clients and key decision-makers, including physicians, hospitals, community groups and individuals to introduce HeartFit For Life's services and showcase the benefits of our cardiac rehabilitation programs.

4. Growing Membership: Support the development of a deep understanding of each prospective patient's needs and assist in tailoring the sales pitch to highlight how HeartFit For Life's cardiac rehabilitation programs can address their specific health concerns and improve their recovery and overall heart health.

5. Relationship Building: Collaborate with the team to nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and healthcare professionals to enhance loyalty and encourage referrals to drive membership growth.

6. Presentations: Assist in conducting informative and persuasive presentations about HeartFit For Life's cardiac rehabilitation services at medical conferences, community events, and educational workshops.

7. Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in the healthcare landscape to contribute insights to fine-tune strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

8. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with HeartFit for Life team, to ensure a seamless experience for clients from the initial contact through their enrollment in the cardiac rehabilitation program.

9. Performance Goals: Contribute to achieving ambitious targets and performance goals to contribute to the overall growth of HeartFit For Life’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program.

Requirements:

  • Experience in customer relations/sales/marketing, preferably in the healthcare industry or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding goals and objectives.
  • Knowledge of cardiac rehabilitation or cardiovascular health will be an advantage.
  • Strong communication, presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and goal-oriented.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
