Heart and vascular care PA is Hiring a Medical Receptionist Near Orlando, FL

Heart and Vascular Care is seeking an experienced and Spanish-speaking individual to join our team as a Medical Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at our office. An ideal candidate is detail-oriented and has a self-starter attitude.

Heart and Vascular Care is a fully equipped cardiovascular practice and has grown over the years from one location to five locations across Central Florida. We specialize in a number of cardiac, vascular, and venous treatments and see patients with peripheral arterial disease, cardiovascular disease, venous insufficiency and more.

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and appropriately triage calls
- Schedule appointments and consistently communicate with patients to ensure their arrival to their appointment
- Check-in patients, verify insurance information, and collect necessary paperwork
- Update patient records in our EMR system (eClinicalWorks)
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning and uploading documents
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Proficiency in using EMR system (eClinicalWorks)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Knowledge of cardiovascular office operations is an asset
- Spanish-speaking preferred
- Non-smoking preferred
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between clinic sites
