Join our team! Expanding family medicine practice is seeking a Credentialing Specialist with 2 or more years of Medical Credentialing experience.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and keep up to date all provider information within database
- Maintain updated credentialing documents, while requesting needed items and maintaining a high level of efficiency and accuracy
- Submitting applications for credentialing and re-credentialing in a timely fashion
- Addressing outstanding applications, inaccuracies, and soon-to-expire information by running regular reports
- Maintain up to date enrollment and terminations of providers while gathering and documenting pertinent information
- Provide high levels of professional customer service and communication
- Assist as needed with internal teams regarding ongoing tasks and projects
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED: 2 or more years of experience in Medical Credentialing
- Knowledgeable of medical terminology
- High efficiency in problem resolution
- Experience in Excel, MS Suite, EMR/EHR, Medicare and Medicaid
- Detail oriented and ability
- Ability to multi-task effectively, work individually as well as in a team environment
