We are looking for highly motivated outside sales professionals to consult with customers on basement waterproofing, basement finishing, and crawlspace repairs on Long Island, NY. In-home sales experience is preferred. If you do not have in-home sales, but have strong face to face customer selling experience, we want to talk with you! This is a great career for people with competitive drive, passion for helping people fix problems in their homes, and/or highly motivated individuals with a strong sales aptitude.

What you would do:

  • Meet with homeowners on pre-qualified, company-generated leads
  • Build rapport with the customer and determine desired outcomes
  • Carefully examine the customer's home to accurately diagnose the issues
  • Provide necessary recommendations to the customer that will resolve such issues
  • Write proposals for each customer account, including photographs, instructions, diagrams, pricing lists, and job worksheets
  • Negotiate contracts, process payments and file paperwork for scheduling of projects
  • Meet or exceed sales goals

What we need for this role:

  • 2 years of recent, proven outside sales experience required
  • Previous experience in construction and/or waterproofing highly preferred
  • Being able to and comfortable with entering crawlspaces and basements
  • Highly motivated and results-driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Confident self-starter with a desire to earn an excellent living
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Ability to walk, climb a ladder, kneel, and crawl
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license and a safe driving record (required)
  • Must be willing to submit to drug screening and background check
