Job Description:
In addition to the compensation above, this position is eligible for location pay ($4,000/year).
Responsibilities
The Program Assistant I will provide administrative and programmatic support for the Ryan White Part B Quality Management Program. Responsibilities will include assisting with the planning and implementation of the Ryan White Part B Quality Management Program; coordinating meetings and trainings with providers and staff on quality management/quality improvement issues; assisting in furnishing technical assistance to providers; serving as liaison with providers and staff; assisting with the development of written documents; and participating in special projects. Other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one year of experience in administrative, financial, human resources, operations or other program activities; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and three years of such experience; OR five years of such experience.A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in quality management/quality improvement. Knowledge of the HIV service delivery system in NYS and the NYS Ending the Epidemic (ETE) initiative. Experience in an HIV-related program in NYS. Experience working with committees/workgroups and stakeholders. Experience developing presentations and reports. Experience coordinating large meetings or trainings. Experience writing meeting summaries.
Conditions of Employment
Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Travel, up to 25% of the time, will be required.
This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.
