Health Care Recruiters International is Hiring a Clinical Supervisor, Behavioral Heath Near Hermiston, OR

Healthcare Recruiters seeks 4 full-time onsite Licensed or non-licensed Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisors for their Outpatient facilities in rural Oregon: John Day, Condon, Pendleton and Hermiston.

SUMMARY:

The Clinical Supervisor II (licensed) or Clinical Supervisor I (non-licensed) is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of all assigned mental health and/or addictions clinicians. The Clinical Supervisor plans, assigns, directs and reviews the clinical work of mental health therapists. The Clinical Supervisor also formally reviews and signs off on assessments and treatments plans developed by clinicians. During clinician absences, a Clinical Supervisor might pick up a very small caseload for interim coverage (rarely).

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Provide after-hours emergency services, telephone consultation and crisis intervention on a 24-hour, rotating basis to adults and children. May also participate in the back up on call supervisory rotation on a 24-hour rotating basis (once every 7-8 weeks).

· Work closely with HR to recruit, hire and train new staff. Provide supervision and conduct performance evaluations. Follow policies for employee discipline and termination when necessary.

· Initiate holds, provide civil commitment investigations, and work with the hospitals, case workers and the state and other individuals/agencies for all individuals in the civil commitment process.

· Work with contracted prescribers to put together schedules and ensure that the service delivery is well coordinated for prescribers and the customers they see. Consult with prescribers to coordinate medical treatment.

· Work with Quality Assurance Coordinator to ensure that clinicians are meeting quality assurance standards. When requested, participate in internal administrative meetings. Hold regular clinical staff meetings.

· Communicate with members of the public to coordinate work programs, inform the public about our services, and speak with groups about our services and/or specific areas of mental health and alcohol/drug programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Both non-licensed and licensed:

· Master’s degree from an accredited university in behavioral/mental health, psychology, sociology or other human services related field.

· Must have 2 years post Masters and have 5 years of behavioral/mental health experience in the delivery of clinical services.

If fully Licensed:

Licensed in Oregon as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT or PhD/Licensed Psychologist.

Certifications for both licensed and non-licensed:

Certified Mental Health Investigator, or ability to obtain certification.

Certified Protective Services Investigator, or ability to obtain certification.

If non-licensed: Need to obtain their Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification.

Other Skills and Abilities:

· Knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness and addictions and principles of counseling.

· The ability to use independent judgment including finely developed decision making, planning, analytical and organizational skills. Ability to prepare and maintain detailed and accurate records.

· Ability to understand, interpret and apply laws, regulations and administrative rules related to mental health and chemical dependency.

· Must be a self-starter and demonstrate the ability to supervise and assign work to subordinates; ability to work effectively with other employees and the general public.

· Must have excellent typing skills and knowledge of basic office software programs and ability to effectively use such software.

Pay: $63,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
