Crisis Registered Nurse Opportunity at Urgent Care Clinic in Fuquay-Varina

Key Details:

• Location: Fuquay-Varina
• Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts
• Shift Differential: Full-time and part-time nurses qualify for shift differential if they work at least five (5) hours.
• On-Call: Nurses can volunteer for on-call shifts, compensated at $5.00 per hour, with an additional $100.00 when called in to work.
• Stay Over: Nurses covering 4 hours of a shift due to call-outs receive $100.00.
• Acuity Need: Nurses covering high acuity hours receive $100 for 4 hours, $200 for 8 hours, and $300 for 12 hours.
• Compensation: Earn a base pay of $33-36 per hour.

Qualifications:

• Licensure: North Carolina RN Licensure
• Experience: Preferred: One year of nursing experience
• Training: Completion of 12 hours of Person-Centered Thinking training within 90 days of hire
• Driver's License: Valid
• Additional Training: LSCI, SCM, Ukeru training as appropriate for the position

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families
• Assist with diagnostic procedures
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
• Assist with wound care and suture removal

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
• Familiarity with electronic medical records
• Strong communication skills

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of [location]
• BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Ability to lift and move patients safely
• Knowledge of infection control protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
