Malible is a headless content and feature management hub that allows you to manage, personalize, and deploy digital experiences to any platform. It is currently being used by many well-known enterprise partners to manage their mobile and web experiences. The software was initially born out of Heady’s work with clients - providing our partners with increased flexibility and access to their digital platforms - and will soon be offered as a standalone SaaS product on launch.

About the role:

As a Senior UX/UI Designer at Heady, you will be a part of a growing multidisciplinary design team where you will define and design the user experience and interface of our content and feature management platform, Malible. You will produce and represent creative designs by leveraging your User Experience, User Interface, and Visual Design expertise. In addition, you will report directly to the Director of Design, partner closely with the CEO, and work cross-functionally with strategists, engineers, and partners to help deliver elegant user-centered designs. Your end-to-end designs will reimagine our existing system of design and live product from which you will iterate and enhance work that will help shape the future of Malible.

Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end design of our content and feature management platform, Malible.
• Manage the UX process from inception to launch including conducting necessary user research, developing user flows, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready design deliverables.
• Work closely with the Product Manager, Technical Architect, and other cross-functional team members to help deliver elegant and innovative experiences that solve problems and provide value to users.
• Effectively communicate and present design work to cross-functional team members as well as to the Director of Design and CEO.
• Perform qualitative or quantitative research activities and validate design through usability testing initiatives.
• Lead the establishment of a design system for the product in collaboration with engineers and other cross-functional team members.
• Collaborate with designers and other cross-functional team members to contribute to the design team’s user-centered creative design process that prioritizes collaboration.
• Contribute to adjacent internal design initiatives that support Heady priorities.
• Deliver experiences that are inclusive and accessible to all audiences.

Qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in User Experience Design, User Interface Design, and Visual Design.
• 4 years of user design experience, ideally with extensive responsive web design experience.
• Strong portfolio showcasing diverse user experience and user interface designs that demonstrate a passion for design, a process-oriented design approach, and strong visual design skills.
• Strong conceptual, creative, and strategic thinking. You have experience translating user needs, behaviors, and project requirements into concrete designs.
• Experience effectively presenting and communicating design decisions and design solutions to clients and team members.
• A passion for design, solving problems for users, and providing value to users through product.
