Job Title: Trauma Department Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Coordinator

Job Summary: The Director of Trauma Services RN is a leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Trauma Department's Performance Improvement and Patient Safety Program. This includes reviewing the continuum of care from the prehospital setting through to hospital discharge to determine compliance with patient care protocols, policies, and procedures, as well as established standards of care.

Qualifications:

• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
• Florida Registered Nurse licensure
• Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing. BSN, Masters Degree in Nursing or related health field preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course, or TNCC Instructor
• Strong computer and hospital informatics skills: Microsoft Office, familiarity with American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma requirements
• Strong networking abilities and public speaking skills
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to communicate with patients, physicians, and staff as appropriate
• Attend TOPIC course within one year of hire
• Minimum of 3 years nursing experience required. 3 years recent experience in Trauma nursing to include Project management and Trauma Performance Improvement Clinician Quality/Performance Improvement preferred
• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved)

Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of manager/Dir level experience in a trauma program
• Must be an RN with BSN
• Reports to CEO

Salary Range: $107K min - $160K max, based on years of experience

• Up to 15% annual bonus based on performance KPIs
