Hazen and Sawyer is seeking an Assistant Engineer with 0 to 3 years of experience in design of municipal water and wastewater projects. The candidate will participate on design teams for water and/or wastewater infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities to include:

• Working on a design team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction of collector sewers, pump stations, force mains and/or treatment facilities.
• Field work and site visits from design through construction.
• Communicate clearly and concisely through technical writing.

Qualifications Required:

• 0 to 3 years of experience in designing water and wastewater projects for municipal clients.
• Must hold B.S. degree in environmental, civil, or chemical engineering.
• Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in all computer software typically used (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). GIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software skills will be considered a plus.
• The candidate must have strong organizational skills.

This will be an in-office position with an option to work from home a few days a week.
