We are currently seeking talented individuals for our Product Support Sales Representative position!
Here is some of what you’ll do…
POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Manager will be responsible for managing the CRC, Hydraulic and Weld Service Departments utilizing all the resources made available to them. The Manager will provide our customers with exceptional customer service by partnering with them to ensure trust and productivity.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Ensure all safety standards and goals are met. Enhance the Continuous Improvement culture to promote a safe working environment. Manage and direct all activities necessary to maintain a profitable and well-regarded Service operation. Interfaces with customers to understand their needs and facilitate a relationship that promotes a partnership between Hawthorne and the customer.Maintain timely and professional communication with Customers.Oversee performance for all direct reports to include evaluations, HTCP and safety.Manage and promote all safety policies with a special emphasis on the Big 3 culture topics with technicians.Manage all aspects of WIP for the assigned shops.Develop and implement procedures to minimize flat rate variance, rework, and policy for the department.Oversee technician productivity and efficiency.Utilization of ServiceLink and Lytx to improve customer satisfaction and safety.Implementation of remote troubleshoot/flashing procedures.Manage department P&L and take the appropriate measures to meet/exceed budget expectations.Compliance with company and Caterpillar policies and procedures. Oversee all shop and field truck state and safety requirements.Perform any job that may be assigned as necessary to meet the company, department or individual goals and objectives.Qualifications
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Must have two (2) years general office experienceMust have three to five (3-5) years experience in a heavy equipment service shop departmentPC skills requiredMust have a valid California Class C Drivers LicenseMust have above average communication skillsMust have excellent customer service skillsPHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain.Handling: Picks up items, helps or works with hands.Lifting: Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts up to 50 lbsReaching: Extends hands and arms in any direction.Stooping: Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist.Standing: Remains in standing position. If required to perform various functions of the job.Climbing: In and out of equipment.Vision: Read work tickets and parts books.Talking: Communications by radio, phone, and in person.Sitting: Sits in equipment and in vehicles.ENVIRONMENTAL:
