Until Filled JOB OVERVIEW:
To partner with teaching staff in the development of student literacy through administration of the library media services program; to provide specialized instruction in the area of information and technology literacy to students and staff, and to oversee the selection, organization, utilization, and maintenance of library media resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science or School Librarian Endorsement preferred
• Strong background in computer and information technology
• Past experience teaching the specific class will be considered first. If no previous teaching experience in the specific class, recent coursework or student teaching in the subject will be considered.
• Professional Educator License - Library Information Specialist Endorsement
• Ability to speak a second language is preferred
