Hartsfield Village, the leading Continuing Care Retirement Community in Northwest Indiana, is seeking a dedicated Dining Room Manager to join our team. At Hartsfield Village, we prioritize compassion, integrity, and forming personal connections to provide unparalleled care to our residents.

POSITION: DINING ROOM MANAGER – CVI

Independent Living

SCHEDULE:

Primarily 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday / Secondary 11:00am – 7:30pm, including Nights, Weekends, and Holidays

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking an experienced individual with strong managerial skills, a creative mindset, and an unwavering commitment to exceptional service. The Dining Room Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our residents while upholding the highest standards of quality and hospitality.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Lead and support Dining Servers to ensure smooth operations during service

- Coordinate special events and holiday parties, contributing to a vibrant community atmosphere

- Maintain dining room reservations and oversee the creation of new resident and employee files

- Conduct staff training sessions and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

- Monitor inventory and ensure proper maintenance of dining facilities and equipment

- Foster positive relationships with residents, guests, and family members through friendly and attentive service

- Foster positive working relationships with employees, colleagues and superiors while providing an ideal working culture for all

- Manage scheduling, payroll, and attendance tracking, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times

REQUIREMENTS:

- High School graduate or equivalent

- Minimum 2 years of supervisory and/or food service experience in a full-service Senior Living facility

- Minimum 2 years of fine dining service experience

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and ability to learn company systems

- Experience in event planning, scheduling, and payroll management preferred
