Reports to: Restaurant Manager

Classification: Non-Exempt, Seasonal Part-time

Overall Responsibilities of the Back of House (BOH) Team Member:

• Assist in all Back of House operations to provide safe, quality, enticing, and timely food service experiences for all customers of the restaurant dining room, take-out, snack shack, catering and special food service events as assigned.
• Provides exceptional customer service to all patrons.
• Projects a professional demeanor at all times; stays calm in difficult situations; and treats staff and customers respectfully at all times.
• Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort (HRCR) Employee Handbook, Employee Safety Manual and Board Policies and Procedures.
• Responsible for other duties as assigned.

Operations: The Restaurant Back of House (BOH) Team Member will:

• Provide Prep and Pizza line service with consistency in food temperature and cooking, plate presentation, as well as correct items and portion sizes.
• Adhere to BOH training in handwashing and glove use, running wheel, cooking techniques, food safety, etc.
• Complete shift checklist to include cleaning and filling supplies before clocking out.
• Assist BOH cleaning schedule for hood, fryers, prep fridge, reach-in, walls, sink, pass-thru, 3 compartment sink, pizza ovens, etc.
• Attend department meetings to discuss company policies, customer feedback and other topics as assigned.
• Adhere to BOH compliance with all safety norms and regulations set by HRCR, local, state and federal laws.
• Cross-training to help with Front of House (FOH) activities. Work with FOH on regular cleaning of the ice cream machine.
• Assist with BOH prep and catering support as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
