Harrison County Hospital is seeking to hire a MRI Technologist.

STATUS: Full-time, 32-40 hrs/wk. No call, weekends, or holidays.

REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS:

• Licensed as a radiation worker in the state of Indiana
• Must maintain licensure by ISBH
• CPR Certification
• Annual PPD
• Annual fire/safety training
• Corporate Compliance

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Must be able to communicate effectively with Department Manager, Radiologists, physicians, technologists, patients and their families.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate from an approved school of radiography
• ARRT (MR) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist CNMT preferred
• 1 year experience as a MRI Technologist preferred

Duties and Responsibilities included, but not limited to:

• Performs exams as needed to facilitate workflow.
• Effectively communicates with other hospital departments and displays a spirit of cooperation.
• Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and calls for service as needed.
• Has knowledge of and follows all hospital and departmental policies.
• Ensures all exams are preformed in a timely manner each day with the highest regard to confidentiality and privacy for patients.
• Aides Radiologists with questions and or problems.
• Provides technical assistance to area technologists as needed.
