Job Description
- Projects include the study/design of roadway and site lighting, traffic signals for State/municipal clients and ITS improvements for public agencies
- Design pump station electrical systems, generator sizing and site electrical improvements
- Prepare plans, specifications and cost estimates and preliminary studies
- Supervise/mentor other staff on larger projects
- Coordinate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
- Review and check engineering work completed by staff
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of experience
- PE License or ability to obtain in two years
- Proficient in MicroStation
- Experience with IDOT/Illinois Tollway projects preferred
- CDOT/INDOT experience preferred
