Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our practice, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. This is a part-time position with administrative responsibilities. Experience with Open Dental is recommend but not required. previous history of work in a dental office is also recommended.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, take messages
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, payment collection
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Requirements:
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Open Dental or other dental software (willingness to be trained)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist or in an administrative role is preferred
- Knowledge of dental receptionist duties is a plus
