What you will do for Harris County Precinct 4 (HCP4)
Harris County Precinct 4 seeks an experienced Sports Manager. Under the direction of the Director of Parks, the Sports Manager oversees and manages Precinct 4’s concessionaire program which includes multiple contracts with sports leagues, and precinct partnerships. The Sports Manager will be responsible for gaining in-depth knowledge of multiple contracts, ensuring contract terms and conditions are met, and maintaining effective relationships with concessionaires and Precinct 4 staff.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Parks & Recreation Management, Recreation and Leisure Services, Public Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Two (2) years of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in parks and recreation programs and/or operations
OR
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Seven (7) years of supervisory or management experience in Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources
Three (3) years of experience in managing sports programs
Licensure:
Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record.
