Under general supervision, the Service Coordinator will act as the liaison between the customer and our Service Technicians, ensuring you are keeping the customer up to date on repair times, estimates, and when the vehicle is ready for pick up. There is a heavy customer service basis, as the Service Coordinator is often the initial contact, so having good people skills is a must. You will also need to build strong relationships with our partners and service providers to ensure clients receive the best care possible.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Schedule vehicle service appointments
• Greeting customers in a professional manner
• Accurate write up of customer concerns using fleet management software
• Dispatch repairs to technicians and outside vendors based on workload
• Answer incoming calls
• Prepare estimates and conveys expected costs to obtain approval for repairs from various County Departments
• Track vehicle repairs and communicating progress to customers
• Maintain excellent customer satisfaction
• Perform any additional task assigned by management

Education:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited educational institution 

Experience:

• One (1) year of Customer Service experience with a Positive and Flexible Attitude

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

• Must maintain a valid Texas Driver's License at all times
• Must be available to work various shifts
• Must be available to work 2nd or 3rd shift
• Maintain excellent customer satisfaction
• Must have the ability to work well with others in a diverse and high-volume environment

• Experience in the Automotive Industry (Dealership/Fleet)

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift at least 25lbs. and/or move boxes and equipment as need
• Subject to occasional kneeling, crouching, handling, climbing, walking, sitting, twisting, and reaching as needed to perform the essential functions

Environmental Environment:

• Must be able to work in hot and cold conditions.
