Harbor is seeking a Senior Manager of Internal Communications and Engagement to join our rapidly growing team. Reporting to Harbor’s President and working closely with executive leadership, the Senior Manager of Internal Communications and Engagement is a newly created position at Harbor to develop and maintain a comprehensive internal communications and engagement strategy. This position will serve as a creative and strategic advisor on change management, employee engagement and be responsible for communications for internal departments, projects teams and events. A successful candidate for this position has a growth mindset and can be positive, flexible and adaptable in Harbor’s fast-paced environment. This is a fully remote position that can be worked anywhere in the US or Canada and reports to Harbor’s President.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive internal communication and engagement strategy, monthly plans and related communications materials/collateral;
• Design, write, edit or otherwise produce communications for multiple formats and channels;
• Collaborate with multiple internal departments to ensure consistent and high-quality communications (Including: HR, Technology, Chief of Staff, CEO, PMO, Marketing and Sales);
• Serve as a creative and strategic advisor on change management, employee engagement, and communications for internal departments, projects, teams, and events;
• Contribute to the design and rollout approach for company-wide intranet and other major projects, supporting the President, CEO, Chief of Staff, Enterprise Operations leaders and the Project Success Office;
• Work in close collaboration with Harbor’s Marketing team, VP of Marketing and Chief Revenue Officer to ensure that internal communications and engagement efforts align with Harbor’s external brand, messaging and tone
• Measure the effectiveness of communications campaigns and tactics and adjust strategies accordingly;
• Create innovative communication tactics to introduce new programs, processes or information, to increase awareness and adoption of current business-driven programs to drive employee engagement and business results;
• Develop, manage, and implement communication plans to deliver key messages and optimize business results, based on audience needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations or related field,
• 5 years' experience in a professional communications environment, advertising or PR agency, graphic design or related field. Applicants may be asked to provide work samples
• Experience in corporate communications and project management;
• Phenomenal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with individuals at all corporate levels;
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills;
• Experience developing and executing communication plans;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
• Strategic thinker with the ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions to complex problems;
• Strong attention to detail.
