ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
·Assist physicians and nurses in examinations and procedures.
·Take and record vital signs, patient history, and other pertinent information.
·Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization.
·Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
·Schedule appointments and handle front desk duties as needed.
·Assist with insurance verification and billing processes.
·Perform basic laboratory tests and specimen collection.
·Administer medications and injections under the supervision of a healthcare provider.
·Conduct routine diagnostic procedures such as EKGs and wound care.
·Effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
·Provide clear instructions and education to patients regarding treatment plans and medications.
·Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.
·Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall improvement of healthcare delivery.
·Perform other duties, as required.
