Happy Valley Children's Garden is Hiring a Toddler Teacher Near Portland, OR

Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for Toddlers.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities.
- Teach basic academic skills such as math, language arts, science, and social studies.
- Incorporate physical education into daily routines to promote gross motor skills development.
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the well-being and progress of each child.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development.
- Follow all licensing regulations and maintain a clean and organized classroom.

Experience:
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with young children.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.25 - $20.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Benefits:

  • Paid time off

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • No weekends
