Early Childhood Teacher

We are seeking an Early Childhood Education Teacher to join our organization!

Responsibilities:

• Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual, creative, physical and social growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Be a team player

Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled on the Oregon's Central Background Registry
• 1 year previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Our Infant through Pre-Kindergarten classes offer hands on learning experiences and facilitate emergent literacy. Our Before and After School program and school-age explorers summer camp program offer a safe and fun experience for children 6 to 12 years of age.

Our facilities include four historical buildings, a gymnasium, three playgrounds, dance studio, and a courtyard for sunny day socials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
