Pay Scale

Depending on job performance, the Business Development Representative compensation range is expected to be $40,000-$60,000 annually.

Job Summary

The Business Development Representative responds to car sales inquiries, schedules customer visits, and provides a professional introduction to our sales department when they arrive. This person is also a backup on all other incoming calls including Service.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responds to customer internet sales inquiries, phone sales calls, and internet chats with the goal of scheduling an appointment to visit a salesperson on the showroom floor
  • Maintains a Customer Relations Management (CRM) database of unsold customers with the goal of scheduling an appointment to visit a salesperson on the showroom floor
  • Provides continuous maintenance to E-Commerce technology/tools with the intention of improvement
  • Researches and prepares vehicles for demonstrations
  • Reports any process discrepancies to the Supervisor
  • Records all Representative/Customer activity for accountability daily
  • Opens the Business Development Center and runs operations in accordance with all policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish is a huge plus!
  • Proven customer relations communication ability
  • Planning, organization, and prioritization
  • Understand and follow protocol for the proper lines of communication
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be reliable and punctual
  • Pass a drug test

Pay defined: The Business Development Representativeposition has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $17.45, plus performance bonuses. The performance bonus may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.
