Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Director of Programs, the Program Coordinator will spearhead the execution of The Zero Suicide Initiative by creating partnerships with stakeholders, community members, nonprofit agencies, school districts, and the public to provide unbiased, non-commercial, evidence-based information about The Zero Suicide Initiative, enhancing knowledge of Zero Suicide key indicators. The Program Coordinator will complete reports as required by the funder(s). The Program Coordinator will generate creative ideas to spread awareness about The Zero Suicide Initiative including planning events to gather feedback from key stakeholders in the community. The Program Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate data regarding specific goals, grant requirements, and other reporting as needed. The Program Coordinator is responsible for supervising Program Specialists. This position is a combination of field, in-office, and home-office meetings.
