We have Morning Shifts available from 7am-12pm as well as Afternoon/Closing Shifts available from 2pm-6pm.

Hands n Hands Child Care is hiring a Childcare Teachers for our daycares in San Antonio, TX. This person will be responsible for assisting teachers and administrators with their daily tasks and needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a child care environment, as well as working closely with children. You will teach them important elements that they will encounter soon after they enter school life. Qualifications needed to teach them effectively include knowledge of best practices and preschool educational methods as well as the ability to engage them and earn their trust and attention. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental and emotional development of the child so they can more easily acclimate in the next level of education.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Assisting teachers and administrators with administrative duties and tasks.

• Maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment through regular safety procedures.
• Ensuring that the classroom is clean and tidy at all times.
• Communicating with parents on behalf of the teacher.
• Assisting with the implementation of new curriculum through lesson planning and implementation.
• Assisting with teacher training.
• Assisting with parent communication through the app.

Experience:
Minimum of 6 months experience working with children in a classroom setting preferred, but not required.

• Experience working in a school environment preferred, but not required.
• CDA preferred, but not required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• After school
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
• On call
