Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: repairing and maintaining machinery, equipment, and systems.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed.
- Supervise and coordinate contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with various tools and equipment.
- Proficiency in electrical systems troubleshooting and repair.
- Experience with welding and fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to supervise others.
