Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of our facilities and equipment. This is a crucial role in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, repairing machinery, equipment, and electrical systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot and diagnose problems
- Fabricate parts or components as needed using various tools and equipment
- Utilize logic controllers and schematics to diagnose electrical malfunctions
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders and document repairs
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to weld and perform basic fabrication tasks
- Mechanical knowledge to repair and maintain machinery and equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and logically
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and other departments
