Responsibilities: - Develop and implement music lesson plans for students of various ages and skill levels - Teach music theory, technique, and performance skills - Provide individual and group instruction in a variety of musical instruments and vocal techniques - Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students - Assess student progress and provide feedback on their musical development - Collaborate with other music teachers and staff to coordinate performances and events - Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills Experience: - Previous experience teaching music to students of different age groups and skill levels - Knowledge of various musical instruments and vocal techniques - Familiarity with music theory, notation, and composition - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles - Experience in theater, special education, childhood development, or adult education is a plus - Background in ballet, dance, culinary arts, or tutoring is beneficial Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
