Beyond delivering stellar service, you will engage with patients to screen their family and personal history, empowering eligible individuals with the opportunity for genetic insights to inform proactive health decisions. Responsibilities:

  • Act as the welcoming ambassador for the clinic, embodying warmth, and professionalism reminiscent of top-tier clinical care.
  • Serve as a supportive guide for patients throughout the consultation process, offering assistance before and after appointments.
  • Deliver exceptional patient care, ensuring each individual feels valued, understood, and well- supported.
  • Address any concerns or uncertainties regarding genetic testing, providing patients with reassurance and comprehensive information.
  • Guide patients through hereditary cancer testing, offering invaluable insights into genetics for proactive health management.
  • Cultivate meaningful connections with patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding throughout their healthcare journey.
  • Utilize technical skills to conduct thorough screenings and assessments, ensuring comprehensive patient care.
  • Take a proactive approach to health management, prioritizing prevention strategies to promote overall well-being.
  • Collaborate closely with a diverse team to deliver personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
  • Continuously strive for excellence in all aspects of patient care, actively seeking opportunities for improvement and professional growth.
  • Always uphold the clinic's standards of clinical excellence and professionalism.
  • Track and report key metrics on a regular basis, including the number of qualified patients, consultations, and tests conducted.
  • Identify and report trends regarding qualified patients who decline testing, capturing reasons for their decisions.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment, contributing to a culture of collaboration, empathy, and mutual respect among team members.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a LVN or MA in patient facing role.
  • Proven track record of building relationships and fostering trust with patient, emphasizing empathy, understanding, and effective communication.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with patients.
  • Proficiency in conducting consultations and guiding patients through complex medical processes, such as genetic testing.
  • Highly organized with the ability to track and report key metrics accurately and efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment, fostering a culture of support and collaboration.

Physical and Working Requirements of the Position:

  • Must be able to sit and stand for long periods, without restrictions.
Work Availability / Hours Required:
(standard, evenings, weekends, split shift, etc.)
  • Multiple shifts are available includings evenings and weekends, based on business need.
