What your role entails and how you will contribute:
The Global Finance department supports the Hallmark Global business through financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and other business support. We are a key component of the Hallmark Global business maximizing profit and managing resources. The Financial Analyst Terms & Contract Negotiations works directly with the Hallmark customer teams to analyze, model, and help negotiate all customer contracts. The position also works closely with the Hallmark legal department in reviewing, writing, and analyzing the contractual language for each customer relationship.

Core areas of focus include:

• Model, analyze, and communicate details related to each contractual negotiation happening with all of Hallmark’s customers. This includes presenting to customers and to Hallmark leadership at all levels
• Assist Hallmark legal department in the creation and analysis of contractual language that defines each contractual relationship Hallmark has with customers
• Leads problem solving to create solutions to customer requests

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two (2) years of work experience in finance, accounting, P&L management, or customer facing account management
• Ability to work from Hallmark HQ when necessary to meet business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Experience using Essbase
• Experience developing profit and loss analysis
• Ability to communicate financial analysis and concepts to non-finance business partners at an level
• Ability to partner with customer teams to develop solutions to business problems

Additional details:
This is a hybrid role with a mix of both on-site and work-from-home time. The role is based in Hallmark’s headquarters in Kansas City, MO.
