RESPONSIBILITES:

• Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
• Integral member of the executive leadership team playing a key role in decision making.
• Lead and manage the accounting department continuously seeking and implementing improvements.
• Fully prepare and review financials on a monthly basis
• Point of contact and lead for all of financial audit and audit work papers including 401k audit.
• Review all inventory and repairs and maintenance invoices over threshold (excluding capital expenditures), purchasing card transactions, inventory, COGS and material sales.
• Review weekly payroll (totaling on average 120 employees) each week
• Prepare the pricing updates on products when costs are increased
• Performs other related work and special projects

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• A driven and self-motivated leader. Construction experience preferred.
• Ability to be a disciplined professional partner with the organization (open-minded, good judgment, high integrity, risk management)
• Has developed strong business planning, administrative, analytical, and business decision-making skills.
• Successful leadership of a high-functioning accounting team

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Required
• Master's Degree /CPA preferred.
• 5 years of experience leading an Accounting/Finance team.
