Responsibilities

A Dry Goods Assistant Controller oversees financial analysts. Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual Dry Goods financial statements and sales tax information for reporting purposes. Primary job responsibilities include the following:

-Supervises and trains employees.

-Prepares and maintains all financial information for Dry Goods financial reports, and other special reports as needed.

-Prepares Dry Goods financial statements monthly. Prepares all other reports on a monthly or quarterly basis.

-Reconciles selected GL accounts to the ledger monthly, quarterly and annually.

-Composes and participates in employees' performance reviews. Assists in interviewing, hiring, and other personnel matters as needed.

-Reviews all monthly sales and use tax returns. Maintains and assesses use tax on invoices as needed.
