Hagar Enterprises is a paving and excavation contractor in Damariscotta, Maine specializing in all phases of site work, utility installation and road construction since 1987.

We are currently seeking positions for our 2024 paving season:

Paving Equipment Operator

Paving Tack Truck Driver

Paving laborers

Paving Supervisor

Paving Superintendent

Monday - Friday work schedule

We are open to developing candidates with great overall traits and drive. Being able to think and act on your own is very important for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Willing to learn to operate Asphalt Roller and Paver.
• Perform general equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Fuel Equipment.
• Assist with non-equipment operator duties such as installing pipe, compacting aggregate etc.
• Use of various power and hand tools; including cutting tools.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• A valid Maine Class C driver's license
• Ability to pass a drug screening (not including marijuana) and a pre-employment physical.
• Ability to lift excess of fifty pounds over head.
