Habitat America, is a DC, MD, VA based property management company, seeking a Outreach Marketing Associate ! This fun, fast paced, position allows you to network and utilize your creativity on a daily basis! This position requires a lot of driving to assist at various properties within our property portfolio.

Valid drivers license is required for consideration of this position.

Initial assignment primarily based in the Frederick, MD area for approximately 1 year. Assignments following that time frame could extend to other areas in MD, DC and VA.

Candidates must have excellent customer service and communication skills to be considered for the position. 2 years of prior marketing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain relationships with local organizations and businesses in the areas of our properties
• Partner with the property leasing staff to distribute promotional materials and attract prospects and increase traffic
• Identifies the appropriate locations for distribution of promotional advertisement and materials
• Act as a liaison between local business and on-site staff
• Attend promotional events for the property including but not limited to : on-site at the property, housing fairs, career fairs or competitor events
• Represent and promote assigned properties at various local events
• Attend various events and meetings in order to network and brand property
• Assist with the coordination of outreach marketing plans
• Determine strategic placement, and makes presentation of information appealing for outreach purposes
• Maintain an excellent customer service relationships
• Utilize established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic
• Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, and assist with other computer data entry as necessary
• Contribute to the general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas and model as needed

Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• This position includes extensive daily driving requirements- Reliable transportation required
• Ability to read and write English fluently- Bi lingual is a plus!
• Ability to create excitement in prospects
• Outreach marketing or outside sales experience preferred

Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite- including Word, Excel, Power Pointputer literacy required

• Must be flexible regarding hours worked and willing to assist with community events that may occur at night or on weekends
• Must be able to work in a fast paced work environment
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs
