We are seeking an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate estimating services for commercial construction projects, including exterior insulating finish systems (EIFS), stucco, water barrier, air barrier, plaster, and exterior cladding.

You will be expected to use software such as PlanSwift and Sage 300 to accurately estimate project costs.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Research and source materials, products, and services for cost estimating.
  • Review plans, specifications, and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide accurate estimates of material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates based on the scope of work.
  • Develop and maintain cost databases.
  • Analyze project plans to determine best approach for cost-effectiveness.
  • Research and determine labor costs, equipment costs, and production rates.
  • Present estimates to clients and answer questions.
  • Prepare and present estimates to the project team.
  • Manage and participate in final negotiations.

Qualifications :

  • 2 years of experience in Construction Estimating.
  • Background in Commercial Construction.
  • Experience with software such as PlanSwift, Sage 300, or similar.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Nice to have :

Knowledge of Exterior Insulating Finish Systems (EIFS), Stucco, Water Barrier, Air Barrier, Plaster, and Exterior Cladding.
