We are seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of tax compliance and reporting for our clients. This includes preparing and reviewing tax returns, conducting tax research, and providing guidance on tax strategies. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and is detail-oriented.

```Responsibilities```
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Provide guidance on tax planning and strategies to minimize tax liability
- Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities
- Prepare financial statements and reports related to taxes
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations

```Skills```
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in account reconciliation, debits, credits, and financial concepts
- Experience with technical accounting issues and financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with tax software such as Xero or similar platforms
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide accurate insights
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
