H&R Powerrs is seeking candidates to join our sales team. This could be your opportunity to transition from an outside sales or customer service role into underwriting with top rated insurance carriers!

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can make sound decisions, communicate clearly, and provide excellent service to customers while offering insurance and financial services quotes over the phone.

This position requires a positive and friendly attitude, a high-service mindset, strong verbal communication skills, and problem-solving capabilities. The ability to effectively work in a fast-paced team environment is required. If you have the right attitude and you work hard, we will teach you the rest!

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Two years of prior insurance and financial service knowledge and experience
  • Two years of data entry experience

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE

  • Answer incoming calls Monday-Friday between the hours of 9am-5pm. (No Holidays)
  • Assist with emailing client billings and renewals when required

SALES DUTIES

New Sales Development

  • Conducting new lead research utilizing the internet
  • Following up on current client mailings (warm calling) to set up review appointments with agents
  • Performing cold calls(phone only) to introduce our products and services and scheduling appointments when someone is interested

Quote Production

  • Providing fast and accurate sales quoting support for our personal and commercial lines prospects, as well as our current clients
  • Providing pre-inspection assistance by measuring homes/buildings and taking pictures for underwriting review
  • Working with our underwriting department when necessary to get final approvals
  • Creating final presentations for the agents to present
  • Following up on presentations to answer potential questions
  • Updating daily sales report for management review
  • Updating company databases with new client information

Check Processing

  • Performing new business and current client renewal check processing

MARKETING SUPPORT

  • Assisting with onboarding new clients by emailing and hard-mailing our new client welcomes
  • Following up on new clients to ensure receipt of welcomes and to answer any additional questions
  • Assisting with current marketing programs to ensure smooth operations and cohesiveness
