What will I be doing? 

The Manager of Contract Administration will play a pivotal role in overseeing all facets of contract administration within our Workforce division, specifically supporting the Gulf Coast Workforce Board and contracted operations. You will lead a team of contract managers, ensuring strict compliance with regulations, meticulous management of budgets, and the cultivation of robust relationships with funding agencies and partners.

üLead and mentor a team of contract managers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Establish clear goals and expectations for the team, continuously monitoring performance to ensure efficient and effective goal attainment.

üOrganize the entire lifecycle of contracts, encompassing both pre-award and post-award activities, while ensuring strict adherence to pertinent regulations and grant stipulations. Review and negotiate contractual agreements, encompassing terms and conditions, budgets, and reporting requirements.

üDevelop and implement streamlined processes and procedures to enhance contract management workflows, ensuring consistency and precision. Collaborate closely with finance and program divisions to guarantee accurate tracking and reporting of deliverables.

üCultivate and nurture robust relationships with funding agencies, partners, and other stakeholders, serving as the primary liaison for grant and contract-related inquiries. Manage budget and contract performance to address deviations from agreed-upon terms in a timely manner.

üPrepare and deliver comprehensive presentations to the Workforce Board and Committees, delivering recommendations for new contract awards, renewals, and terminations.

üProficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Do you have…

üBachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study

ü5 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, schools, or in job-related duties 

Preferred Qualifications

ü8 years of relevant experience including management of federal grants and sub-grants.

ü3 years of managerial experience

üMaster’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study

üCertified Texas Contract Manager
