Job Description:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Event Coordinator to join our dynamic events team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong desire to ensure every event is memorable and successful.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Event Manager with day-of tasks to guarantee a seamless execution of events. Responsibilities include setting up decor, managing the event timeline, coordinating with the wedding party, and monitoring guest activities.
  • Provide outstanding guest services and ensure a positive experience for all attendees.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of events, ensuring that all aspects are executed according to client specifications.
  • Handle multiple responsibilities during event days to ensure all client needs are met and the event runs smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A background in customer service or hospitality is advantageous.
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be driven to achieve goals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide real-time solutions are essential.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and perform various tasks requiring physical activity.
  • Flexibility in hours; must be available to work according to event schedules.

Additional Benefits:

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
