Gui/Hwaro (opening in early 2024), is a new concept by Sungchul Shim and the team behind Michelin starred Kochi and Mari.
Hwaro is a chef’s table dining concept located inside the soon to open Korean-steakhouse Gui. Hwaro will offer a fine-dining, counterside-open kitchen tasting menu highlighting exquisite and upscale ingredients throughout the meal.
Gui is an American-Korean Steakhouse (not a K-BBQ) with flavors influenced by diverse cultures of NYC. A menu created by chefs with a Korean heritage, American upbringing, and Global flavor understanding. Catering to guests from our home city to all over the world.
