SUMMARY
This position reports to the Distribution Operations Supervisor and is responsible for material handling, product movement/transfers and custom packing of orders throughout the facility. This role will also assist in the areas of shipping and receiving and supporting the DC Dock Operations as needed.
YOUR ROLE
-
Move product throughout the facility in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Custom packaging of orders utilizing various tools and equipment.

Operating material handling equipment in a safe and respectable manner
-
Perform safe practices and duties relative to the operation of banders, pallet jacks, forklifts, and any other mechanical equipment.

Transfer products from all areas of the warehouse.

Custom packing of both domestic and international orders, including spare parts, syringes, microcatheters, injectors, urology suites and other items as required by Global Planning Team

Staging product utilizing extreme attention to detail.

Shrink wrap and palletize outgoing orders.

Assures that supplies, parts, materials are available to support the repair function.

Uses company software and programs to assess proper placement of products.

Ensure work area and equipment are kept clean and orderly at all times.

Schedule and complete preventative maintenance by inspecting equipment before use on a daily basis

Complete company assigned training courses.

Perform other duties as assigned
YOUR BACKGROUND:

High School Diploma or equivalence
-
Ability to operate powered Industrial trucks, both sit down and stand up forklifts and reach trucks, etc
-
Experience with shipping / receiving processes
-
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
-
Able to lift to 30 lbs. without assistance
-
Ability to operate powered Industrial trucks
-
Occasionally requires working from heights
-
Must be able to stand, sit, stoop, bend, crawl, kneel
-
Consistent and regular attendance is a requirement of the position
-
Must be able to work on feet for up to 8 to 10 hours per shift while walking regularly
