Position Summary: Responsible for daily work in the fab shop, including own travel arrangements and on-time start of work. Performs various Warehouse functions on a Divisional level such as, but not limited to, deliveries, orders, etc. Develops relationships both inside and outside of the company that promote TP Mechanical Contractors and represents the organization in a professional manner.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Attending a weekly delivery meeting will be mandatory to know which deliveries are scheduled and their dates.
• Loading and unloading of material, fabrication items, tools and equipment from TPMC and vendor trucks.
• Inventory taken daily. Track all material, returns, and backorders.
• Maintain packing slips are organized and systematically entered electronically into the company’s network. Ensures original packing slips are attached to deliveries.
• Ensures cleanliness and organization in the fab shop is at optimal levels.
• All other duties as assigned by floor manager including general fabrication tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience/Qualifications Required:
• Minimum 2 years prior Fab shop experience.
• Background in plumbing and/or construction preferred.

Job Skills:

• Good math ability.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Special Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License
• Flexible hours

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• fabrication shop: 2 years (Preferred)
• plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)
