About the RoleWe are seeking a results-driven and ethical Logistics Coordinator with strong leadership skills to manage and improve the efficiency of our organization's logistics and logistics cost control processes. Duties for the Logistics Coordinator will include Your superior organizational skills and strategic planning will assist our organization in generating positive revenue growth, harmonizing processes, improving systems performance, and enhancing our business model.The successful candidate must be self-directed, possess leadership skills, analytical and strategic thinking abilities, have a clear understanding of business logic, a talent for logistics and budgets, the ability to multitask, and superior interpersonal skills. The noteworthy Logistics Coordinator should help streamline supply chain logistics operations, ensure that the function runs smoothly, eliminate wastage, and improve our organization's financial standing through accurate expenditure monitoring and budget forecasting.
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating 3PL transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipmentsCreating delivery routes to maximize freight cost and customer satisfactionResponding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper transportation providersReviewing sales orders, BOL, and shipping documents to ensure accuracyMaking special shipping arrangements as necessaryTracking and fixing shipping errorsProcessing shipping steps in WorkWiseEnsuring the safe and timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.Liaising and negotiating best rates 3PL providersAnswering customer queries regarding shipments.Managing distribution and shipment budgetsManaging delivery fleetAssist in developing logistics policies.Oversee spending budgets by monitoring operating expenses.Process 3PL damaged cargo claimsProvide accurate and timely information as neededMaterial Inventory warehouse receiving in WorkWiseManaging cycles count on a weekly basis.Assist and develop warehouse procedures.Tool Crib and warehouse Management.Facilitate communication between production, sales, and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain providing ongoing support in the development of guiding logistics contracting and controlling methods.Monitoring logistics budgets, improving efficiencies, and helping with the development of logistics operating procedures and policies.

Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required minimum, a degree in business administration, logistics or related field preferred.5 years of experience in logistics management required.A high degree of US geography and major highway knowledgeWorking knowledge of legal DOT regulationsExcellent communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.Good management and organizational skills.Self-starterStrong problem-solving skills.Customer OrientedOutstanding organizational and coordination abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
