Guaranteed Cleaning Services is a thriving commercial cleaning company dedicated to excellence, proudly serving customers in both the Washington, DC, and NC triad metro areas. We are currently in search of a highly skilled Senior Area Manager to join our team in the NC Triad area. In this crucial role, you will oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring the highest standards of service and contributing to the growth and profitability of our operations. Your responsibilities will include addressing cleaning issues, conducting interviews and staff training, performing inspections, meeting with current and prospective customers, monitoring supplies, and actively participating in the development of a successful and profitable operation. This position reports directly to our Operation's Manager.

Position Overview:

• Role: Senior Area Manager

• Reports to: Operations Manager

• Type: Full-time

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, with flexibility (8:30am – 5pm)

• Availability: Some evenings (6pm – 10pm) and weekends for training and special projects

• Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 (based on experience)

• Benefits: PTO, flexible schedule, healthcare stipend, phone stipend & flextime

• Commission: Opportunities for project work and new contract acquisitions

Responsibilities: The Area Manager role includes, but is not limited to:

• Direct and manage cleaning operations and personnel

• Train and mentor staff on proper procedures, safety, and equipment use

• Conduct cleaning inspections and address customer concerns promptly

• Provide support to staff, ensuring their needs are met

• Monitor cleaning supply usage and coordinate project work

• Respond to emergencies and fill in at locations when necessary

• Utilize our mobile cleaning app for staff attendance monitoring

• Engage in customer service calls, walkthroughs, and prospect meetings

• Actively contribute to finding new customers

• Prepare and submit necessary reports

• Attend weekly virtual meetings

Qualifications and Skills

• 3-5 years of experience

• Minimum 18 years of age

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Minimum one year of operational field experience

• Proven team player with excellent problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of mobile apps

• Drive to succeed with a positive attitude

• Ability to work collaboratively and patiently

• Spanish language proficiency is a plus

• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Flexibility to work nights and weekends
