GT Sales & Manufacturing Inc is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Manager

Description

GT Midwest, an Industrial Supply Company, is seeking and Inside Sales Manager for the Kansas City Division. The Inside Sales Manager has a two-fold role: Leader of inside sales team and other customer service personnel, and manager of program accounts and related activity. The staff may include inside sales people, counter sales people, people located at customer sites, and others as determined by the General Manager. The overall responsibilities of the CRM are to ensure that customers are satisfied and are receiving outstanding service and to grow the business in a manner consistent with the role and with the roles of the personnel he or she manages.

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • As manager of inside sales and other customer service personnel:
    • Continually recruit, select and develop a top performing team focused on sales execution, excellent customer service and customer relations.
    • Manage and coordinate the schedules, projects and assignments of the staff in order to meet customer requirements efficiently and effectively.
    • Drive and Establish Sales Strategy and Quality Process with a team of Account Managers, Inside Sales Team Members and Service Associates.
    • Responsible for strong talent management focus. Ongoing development, coaching, and decisions around improving team and individual performance. Conduct performance management and deliver employee performance reviews.
    • Work Cross Functionally on a regular basis. Communicate and coordinate with other parts of the organization to achieve excellent customer service.
    • Assist or perform specific duties outlined in the Inside Sales Representative job description.
    • Strategic alignment to Outside Sales Team to insure implementation of programs and provide ongoing customer program management.
    • Maintain Profitable sales operations working with sales, supply chain and purchasing teams.
    • Manage and monitor the effectiveness of customer accounts and team performance.
    • Cross train staff in order to minimize risk of service disruption due to turnover or other staffing issues.
    • Develop relationships with customers, suppliers and support staff.
    • Fully understand the various systems related to the customer sales and service processes.

All other duties and tasks as assigned by management.
