Healthcare Sales Director Job Description

Develop and manage a client-based territory while seeking out opportunities for growth. Spearhead account acquisition to generate revenue and expand sales territories. Liaise with senior management to set objectives to execute a sales plan and cultivate business relationships. Be a proven team leader adept in training and directing sales personnel in the pursuit of sales goals and optimizing profit performance.

To fulfill the role of Healthcare Sales Director, you will be accountable to the following:

  • · Initiate and work with prospects to manage and close sales.
  • · Develop strategic territory plans and work with a team of professionals to accomplish those goals.
  • · Create and cultivate productive relationships with current and prospective customers.
  • · Provide meaningful insights to maintain a pipeline with leadership.
  • · Passionately educate and advocate the company with your direct reports.
  • · Provide clear direction and development to your team.
  • · Work cross-functionally to improve processes and products across all departments.

Experience:

  • · Has spent adequate time within the Long Term Care, Assisted Living/Memory Care, SNF, Independent living, Acute Industry.
  • · Has a network of professionals that work in the Long Term Care, Assisted Living/Memory Care, SNF, Independent living, Acute Industry.
  • · Has Foodservice industry background and/or knowledge of the industry.
  • · Has leadership experience over a team of working professionals.
  • · Has experience working with high level individuals of organizations both in your own organization and client’s organizations
